Thank you for coming to Privateclinicnorth.com.
This web-site is designed to assist our patients and community in answering some questions about Private Clinic North and/or addiction.
Private Clinic North's mission is to provide our patients with the opportunity to live a normal, drug-free life. One of the goals of Private Clinic North is to work itself out of a job, but unfortunately addiction is a growing problem, not only in our country, but in our community. Statistics say that there are 19.1 million addicted people in our country and if you do not know someone who is addicted, I assume, in the years ahead, you will.
Therefore, PCN would like to join hands with our community
and reduce the number of people who are addicted and the
stigma associated with addiction.
The addicted population should be treated with dignity and respect. These people are no different than anyone else; they are struggling with an issue in their lives, addiction. I assume everyone can identify with struggling with something, whether it's weight, smoking, anger, greed, lust, watching too much TV or a variety of other issues. The problem is still the same; they have a vice in their life.
The difference with our patients is that they have admitted their vice. Some do it because they have hit rock bottom. Most people do not admit the issues they struggle with because they are more socially acceptable. PCN desires to treat all of our patients with compassion while giving them the opportunity to live a normal life once again. As a clinic, we have and will continue to work toward this end. Please join us in this mission, by treating the addicted population with compassion, just like someone who is struggling with any other issue.
Please pray that
they will continue to have the courage to stand-up and face their weakness
daily.
